Everyone has been telling me that our D sucks but JT is in 2nd in sack in the league right behind the savoir Peppers and Zack is leading the league in tackles. I think our secondary needs a lot of work and we need to give a break to JT and Zack before we burn them out more than they already are. Share your thoughts.
 
secondary has had 1 bad game out of 7 (packers)

other 6 games the secondary played great.

QB... LB... Recievers.... O-Line... Offense overall... the list goes on.
 
I dont think you can say any one positon spot is to blame for our recourd. I mean our quarterback play has been terrible. Ronnie Brown has made some big plays. CC is not even touching the ball. Which is put right on Mularky's shoulders. Out o-line has been terrible. I mean when you put your defense in terrible spots on INTs and such theres going to be points scored. Lets face it this years dolphins is not up to any of the hype at the beginging of the season
 
understandable but we were a team like the bear's or bronco's before maybe not at the same caliber. We are lacking the big play secondary. The offence is our bigest worry right now but also I think we can do a better job in the off season in getting a few backs and also hope our current ones play as well as everyone boast them too. Thank God for our D or other wise we would be in the same boat as the Raiders.
 
Our defense is for the most part good. However, they give up at least one big play for TD or drive leading to a TD per game. they are great on 1st and 2nd down. I am not a religious man, but I pray every time our D is on the field during 3rd down. Horrible.

Were lacking big play form all our positions not just our secondary

And we pretty much are in the same boat as the raiders this year
 
Yea we are almost in the same boat as the Raiders but we have a chance to get our offence running and win a couple of games. I know it does not seem like it but we have some good talent in every position but we just need to find out how to use them. The thing that gets me mad is that these are men not little boys they need to suck it up and get with the program.

Are you freaking kidding??... "Ronnie Brown has made some BIG plays"??!!! What games have you been watching? He's had ONE decent game..other than that he sucks. and sorry INTs happen ,they suck but they happen, if the receivers would learn how to catch there would be less of them.

Good post. But my opinion is our D is not good and hasnt been for a few years. Its not like the Broncos D now (or the Bears), or other good D's in the past, ie the Ravens, that can make up for a game managing offense and make the big stops and create points when necessary. It has been vanilla for a long time. I thought it was changing last year, but it has certainly regressed this year. But you know, I'm optimistic. I think this year is a blip and there will be changes this year ie secondary and at LB, and we will improve next year.
