Bad day got a bit better

Jeez, I admit it, I'm giddy the Jests lost, wish we got the w and my week would be complete but hey, misery loves company.

****ed up part is only head coaches can call time out from the sideline, that ref really ****ed them... Marty you idiot

Here is the difference, and I know this isn't a popular opinion right now:

I see Ryan Tannehill making good decisions and learning a new offense that requires new timing, while his footwork and mechanics are being retooled. The problem is he is not anticipating his throws, he is putting them behind guys. Pulling the trigger too late and not getting the ball out in front. I think that is correctable. And again, I realize this probably comes across as wishful thinking, but I point again to that interview with Bruce Arians this past week in which he talked about how it takes veterans time to settle into a new offense, and SPECIFICALLY on the things we are complaining about -- throwing accurately with anticipation to 'throw guys open.'

Geno, on the other hand, is throwing the ball accurately for the most part. He just makes godawful decisions.

Which would you rather have right now? I think right now with how Dolphins fans feel, most would choose the latter. I don't blame you if you do.

I totally agree.

In many respects today's matchup was a nightmare, both for offense and defense.

Offense because this complex offensive system takes awhile to gel -- and it's dealing w. lack of time and talent at key places.

Defense because the walking wounded LB corps -- and that cost us today. Torched by TEs, RBs and WRs and it could have been much worse had Manuel been a real NFL QB with his passing ability.

Nightmare matchup today. It will get better with Pouncey back and time.

But Miami really needs playmakers at the number 2 WR spot, two TE spots, and more than one good RB. Miller killed Miami today. As well as Clay. Hartline is as good a UDFA in this offense, basically.

Most importantly, we also need a playmaker at QB. I am not giving up on Ryan Tannehill like it seems everyone else is, but right now he is not 'making plays.'

Hard to fix accuracy

I think Geno has a certain pocket awareness and ability to make a play. He is inaccurate though. Tannehill rarely runs to escape to make a positive play out of a negative one. This coupled with his inaccuracy issues is swaying my opinion of him. I am beginning to think he is very average and see very little big play potential out of him. If he had 50% of A Rodgers moxy I would do cartwheels.
