Is anybody else starting to get a feeling that if we release Culpepper it will be a mistake? I mean the guy seems like he's starting to heal, he said he can run straight without pain.. whether he'll be able to drop back and plant on his knee is yet to be seen. I'd atleast give the guy the benefit of the doubt i mean he knows when he's in pain and when everything is getting better. Remember he didnt force himself onto the field, Saban gave him the green light and Culpepper being the player that he is took the oppurtunity.

I just have a really bad feeling about letting Culpepper go..

Yeah let's keep Cpep, sign Trent and cut Beck. That should make everyone happy!

no, my bad feeling regarding cpep was when the Dolphins signed him over Drew Brees. Dumb move...

I would really like to seem him get a shot with an O-Line and the new offensive weapons we got. I mean I understand if we let him go we'll get Trent Green but we have other QBs on the roster that can fill in decently till Culpepper is 100% [Cleo Lemon, John Beck(if he's ready), Gibran Hamdan] We could also sign a spot starting QB. Anyone know if any QBs are available besides Aaron Brooks?

you know it does seem like when we release a guy they seem to play better for the other team and the guy that replaces him does so poorly i want to take command of the dolphins and run the whole show myself. a good example is sam madison we replaced him with knucklehead reggie howard. then there is sammy knight and we replaced him with a knothead . what gives here ?:shakeno:

He was running straight last TC. Saban didn't give him the "green light". The ligaments were sound (and still are). DC gave himself the green light.

Madison and Knight did not play any better than they did here. Reggie Howard did not replace Madison. Will Allen did, and he was a solid player. His problem is his hands, but he did a nice job last season. He was an upgrade over Madison due to SM's declining skills.

Im glad Im not the only one who realizes this. He was well enough to play period. And play he did....terribly. Kinda looked just like he did his last season in Minnesota before the injury...like the worst QB in the league. Im not sure about my math, but I think 2 + 2 is 4 and Culpepper just isnt very good.
