First thing I noticed was that his release has a lot of wasted motion in it. Ball and elbow come too far out from his body. He needs to compact that.

I'd actually read that, pretty wild. Romo is the only QB I'm aware of with sub-9" hands to have any success in the NFL. Mayfield can't come in under that mark, or I'll drop him to late-round consideration.
