Not farting around with the thread this week and really don't feel like talking about yesterday's game anymore.

Miami hasn't played a bad game since September 21st.. Close losses against Green Bay, Detroit and Denver intertwined with some impressive wins. They are a good football team with a lot of talent.

They will run a hurry up offense like the Chargers did yesterday, negating our pass rush. I'll point out too that they shutout the Chargers 37-0 a month ago. That should tell you something about their defense as opposed to ours.

We could also be without Torrey (knee) and Marlon (concussion).

We could have one of those miracle, all hands on deck type games and squeeze out of there with a win, but I have my doubts.

Dolphins 24
Ravens 13

missing marlon doesnt move the needle missing torrey does...but im not getting my hopes up about it til i see how/if he participates this week...

One of our fans made a post about how amazing the Ravens are while this Raven fan doubts they can overcome us.

The Baltimore fans are really down on their Defensive Coordinator and their Pass defense. WOW:

I can't remember ever picking against the Ravens because I'm an optimistic homer, but I'm going to this time. Last game the offense left points on the field, the defense was abysmal, and the coaching was suspect. It was demoralizing lose in a game they should have won.

Has there ever been a worse defense wearing purple? Good against the run? Why would anyone even try. It's amazing we ever got them to punt one time. Rivers was a first down and touchdown machine at the end of the game. The Jets lost to Miami last night but their defensive game plan slowed down the Miami offense with different looks, blitzes, stunts and coverages that kept the young QB off balance. BTW, both of their CBs are UDFAs. But there's no way we'll ever be that creative.

Miami 42-24

We have not beaten a team over .500 this year and I don't see that trend changing this week. But the good news is that when it's over we'll still have a top 10 red zone defense. lol

Miami 20-17

Re: What to do with Pees and the defense?

Firing a coordinator mid-season worked in 2012, but that is by far the norm. Stick with what you have now and reassess at the end of the season. Plus the Ravens don't want to get a reputation of making these kinds of mid-season moves.

IMO Pees has to go. Even in 2012 when they had good players there seemed to be major holes in the D.

Marlon has been big for them on special teams. Like really big.

Wish I knew Harbaugh says it is not serious but coaches always lie. LOL

This must be old because this is the most recent rotoworld report on Torrey:

Ravens coach John Harbaugh expressed no concern about Torrey Smith's "injury" at his Monday press conference.
Beat writers noticed Torrey "limping" in the locker room following Sunday's loss to San Diego, but that was presumably due to routine late-season wear and tear. Harbaugh said Torrey will be ready to face the Dolphins in Week 14.

Looks like we have to beat em all hands on deck boys..

torrey was not on the field their final last minute drive down one so he obviously got nicked up...but yeah i doubt he sits this week...better get some corners back folks

This came will come down to whether we can stop the run, and how well our Oline can handle that dline. Baltimore's pass rush is legit but that secondary is suspect. They lost thier best corner for the year weeks ago and thier pass d has really struggled ever since.

Worried about the stunts they run. Saw Suggs get a couple free passes to the qb against San diego.

No doubt, Dallas Thomas is definitely going to have his hands full this Sunday. We could definitely see Fox early in this game if/when Thomas struggles.

Everything starts up front at the line. It was grossly apparent our front 7 has not been up to par the last 2 games with stopping the run. On the other hand, I am fine with how our O line has played since all the injuries. It will come down to our Defense.
