So just looking at some numbers on the Ravens...

In the entire NFL, they are second to last in total touchdowns scored (19, tied with Rams just to give you an idea of how putrid their offense has been) with only the Texans having a worse TD number. (Dolphins in contrast have a very respectable 30 TDs on the year)

Keep in mind, 3 of their wins have come against the Browns (twice) and Jags (The first Browns game and the Jags game, they almost lost)

Their most impressive win was at home against the Steelers in which Roethlisberger clearly came back from his injury too soon and was not very good.

Their offensive efficiency across the board is pretty terrible.

Their defense is obviously their strong point, having the #1 rushing defense, ironically giving up their most yardage on the ground to the Browns in week 2 with Crowell finishing with 133 yards.

Key to this game - DO NOT settle for field goals... If this becomes a field goal type game, we'll lose. They have the best kicker in the league in Justin Tucker who has not missed all year (!!!) who has a strong leg as well.

They are averaging 1.7 TDs a game. We score 2 TDs and I truly believe we win this game (Not an easy task but just showing what our benchmark needs to be in order to win this game) A sub par offensive performance and there's no way we win this game.

We need OL back and Parker to play to put up a fight, despite whatever their offense is doing you cant expect the Dolphins to move the ball on that defense unless were healthy. If were healthy its still going to be a dog fight to steal a win a low scoring type game.

Im not sleeping on the Ravens offense either with their weapons against this defense.

This game is why were paying suh, he needs to dominate im looking for a big game from him. havent seen them play, but regardless of the numbers they are dangerous at WR. be nice if we didnt allow steve smith to single handidly beat us.

Hostile environment and easily their coldest game this year with weather expected to be in the low 40's.

Would of liked to have a guy like Jason Jones available for this game.l

Definitely need the oline healthy as possible. Ryan's head needs to be on a swivel in this one.

It's pretty simple . . If the entire DLine isn't the clear victor vs. their OLine . . . We are not winning this game.

Baltimore's offense has a lot of problems.

1. Penalties. Lots of penalties.
2. Subpar interior OL play.
3. No physical presence at RB. West and Dixon like to dance a lot, from what I've seen.
4. Joe Flacco is struggling on passes on the perimeter of the field.

Baltimore's offense will remind you a lot of the Joe Philbin Dolphins offense, honestly. Lots of passes within ten yards of the line of scrimmage and a running game that isn't going to scare you. I agree with those who have said that the first to 20 should win.

I'll add to your thoughts...we have to want it more...and out physical them on the lines of scrimage.

We at least need Tunsil & Albert back....and we need Wake, Suh, Phillips & company to dominate their O-line.

Finally...the obvious turnover battle.

you guys do realize that san fran just dropped a 500 burger on us at home right?

not really adding much to this discussion but up here in new england most of my patriot friends are rooting for miami since they despise harbaugh so much.

how much of that was do to a hyper mobile run first qb (seriously was at work didnt see the game)?

Phillips didn't have a single tackle on sunday. Our D-line was horrible in that game. They, along with the LBs allowed kaper**** to run for about 8 first downs. I know Flacco won't be running wild on us but our defense has to play a whole lot better for us to have a real chance on this game. I doubt we'll be able to run the ball and they'll be coming after Tannehill. We need screens and roll outs to slow down their pass rush. We need to win on ST's and stop with the dumb penalties.

Ozzy rules!!

Not only that but when you think about it, they had to travel east to play a 1pm game which really means THEY were playing at 10am and still our defense looked liked crap.

who cares how much it was...they smoked you with zone read...which every nfl team and their mother should by now if that's pretty much all you have to prepare for gameplan wise snuff out

i should go back and watch the game, but did chip's no huddle give us trouble as well, i agree its a problem but we arent going to see anything close to that type of attack again aside from taylor in buffalo.
