Defensive Upgrades.
Already having one of the leagues best defenses, the Ravens signed free agent R.W. McQuarters, and traded for 3 time super bowl winner Tedy Bruschi.

Offensive Upgrades.
The offense received a tremendous upgrade this off season.
Michael Vick was brought in to lead the offense with a new running back and recieving core.
Willis McGahee was acquired via trade and will be great for years to come.
The weak part of the team last season was the recieving core. The Ravens Signed future hall of famer Marvin Harrison, and traded for rising star Nate Burleson. Alex Bannister was also brought in to help on special teams.
The already strong offensive line was upgraded with the signing of Pro Bowler Jonas Jennings.

The Ravens should be considered one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl in 2005.
