I believe they have 9.8 Million plus what they didnt use this past year and they can borrow some from next year. In addition we saved 11.3 million with the Marshall trade and other roster moves can clear up even more. I think with this Marshall move, other cuts, unused cap from 2010 and borrowing we could have upwards of 25-30 million to spend. Dont quote me though.

Ireland has some wiggle room as well. The collective bargaining agreement adopted last summer allows teams to roll over unused 2011 cap space to 2012, as long as they make a written request to the league office. The Dolphins used only 92 percent of their cap space last year, giving Ireland the ability to request an additional $9.05 million in cap money on top of the projected $123 million.

NEW YORK (AP) — The NFL salary cap for 2012 is $120.6 million, barely above last year's figure.
The league informed the 32 teams Sunday that the cap has gone up by $225,000. All teams must be under the cap by Tuesday, when free agency begins.

So with the cap for 2012 being set at 120.6 million we have 4.6 in room (the projected 9.8 mill was based on an assumed increase to the 2012 cap figure that didnt pan out), 9.05 in unused, 11.3 with Marshall gone =24.95 right now with other cap casualties to come.
