We all know that unfortunately....it'll be a long road back for Cameron Wake. Hopefully he fully heals and comes back and continues his stellar career..

But if he doesn't, we'd be wise to look around the league for a player to develop in his role. This morning, PFT announced Browns would be having a fire sale and entertaining all offers for all players. Including Barkevious Mingo.

His pro career has been beset by injury and he's still developing as a player. BUT...if we're looking to replace what Cameron Wake brought to the Fins, Mingo is a guy that might be able to develop into that role. The speed and get-off are there. Everything else, he'd have to be coached up. But in time, he can effective. At LSU, he was a menace to opposing offenses. Like Jerry Hughes, maybe he was just a guy that needed more time to develop than others? I think he could be had for a 4th round pick.

Anyways just a thought I had this morning. Thoughts?

Idk if you can make these kinds of trades with uncertainty at head coach for next season.

With that said I'd like to see a change up, although admitedly it might be the Madden gm in me that is begging for a trade lol.

Can't see us making any moves at this point, hold the picks and start planning towards the offseason.

Tannebaum, IMO, is firmly in control. And i like every move he's made in his tenure. This would be a wise move for the future of the franchise, IMO

I guess the question then becomes....if it's a 4th round pick, can you find a player with Mingo's talent in round 4?

One of the most overrated players in his draft.

That said, I would not mind using a late pick for a player that can fill a hole that we would have this offseason and obviously could help now.

I'd offer low but do it. He's got some upside and we could somewhat replace what dion Jordan was supposed to be.. It's one less need in the draft and pass rushers can take awhile to develop. Have to realize it's a move with the future in mind, not this season. With that thought in mind, we could also look for a corner and maybe fs

Do you see any similarities to Jerry Hughes curb-of-development?

We disagree on Barkevious coming out of the draft. But you're respected, so I respect your opinion. Agree to disagree.

I also would consider Alex Mack at C and then moving Pouncey to what I think is a better position for him: guard.

I think we are a loss to buffalo away from our own fire sale

Alex Mack for a mid round pick. He is a better center than Pouncey IMHO.

With the deadline Tuesday, there is no fire sale of the fins lose to buffalo

Id be interested in mingo but in a 43 hed be a sub package rusher and you dont trade for those type of things unless you are a contender

He has not taken the move to a 34 olb in the pros well...should play in a 3 point stance

would rather have the new HC use Jordan than get another 3-4 rush LB

maybe Philbin held Jordan back? I swear to ****ing god Philbin was the anti-Shula
