It's official guys...not only is he a liar and a cheater, but he's now a racist too.

He pulls out the race card each time he gets a chance. The guy really believes this is about him targeted for being black more than it is about him cheating.
 
race will always be an issue. Why? because racism still exist in this country.

Understandable...but not every person in the country is a racist like some people like to think. Comment like this one made by Barry Bonds are very much uncalled for. I'm sure there are some people that don't like Bonds because he's black...which is wrong. However, he says that nobody wanted him to break the homerun record because he's black...Hey *******, Hank Aaron is black. Nobody wanted you to break it because you cheated.
 
Living in los angeles I know not everyone is racist. I dont see it at all here because its a melting pot but I know it unfortunately does exist. Im not naive to say that it doesnt.
 
Yeah but do you honestly think that he is treated the way he is for being an African American that broke a record that was set by another African American?

Or is it because it's so obvious he cheated?

Before MLB even made a big deal out of it [after knowingly that it did exist and knowingly that Bonds did do it], everyone was kissing his ***, no steroid discussions, MLB was happy making money and smiling at their high ratings. Then when finally the discussions does come up, MLB points fingers and hides, everyone realizes it did exist and he very well could have done it; and there is a ton of evidence that he did do it.

Whether his name was Barry Bonds or Jose Canseco, it wouldn't matter what color he is-- he'd still be in deep ****.
 
Racism definitely exists still. I see it everyday and its all around us. Its in the way you look at people, talk to them, act when youre around them, stereotype them. But it works for and against every group. Bonds is beyond dumb for not realizing this. By bringing up race further he keeps it alive and well. And because so many people actually like Barry for his talent a few may even be affected by his beliefs. And whether those people he affects are black, white, latino or whatever, its creating further divide for the benefit of a single person.
 
No he isn't Barry Bonds is an amazing person.......oh wait, you're talking about that steroids fiend aren't you? ....Nevermind.

Of course racism exists. It's always going to exist just like crime will always exist.

And Bonds..... You're saying more whites/asians etc... have more money or have more people with money then blacks?

I could name a bunch of black athletes in the NBA, NFL and MLB who have more money then my entire family combined forever will ever see.
