I LOVE that JuWuan James is in for a visit. He is excellent prospect in the draft and a starter from day one. Cornelius Lucas is very underrated though the foot issue is a huge red flag for me esp. because he is such a big man.

If the top four OT's are gone at 19, I am very tempted to draft Ryan Shazier and come back to James at 50.

OR if I am a gluten for line play, I would draft Xavier Su'a-filo at 19 and get James at 50 and look this line down with young, tough, athletic kids.

I like Morgan Moses and have no issue with him at 19. However, I think Shazier is a better player and need for the Fins, plus James is not that much worse than Moses.

Auburn RB Tre Mason and Wisconsin RB James White are also at Davie today working out with the Dolphins.

Mason in the 2nd would make my day but probably too high for Miami to go RB, oline and LB are more pressing

Taking Morgan Moses wouldn't be a BAD pick in the 1st round (remember, bad picks are players that don't work out)...but there do seem to be some opportunities with guys like JaWuan James, Billy Turner and Cornelius Lucas to fill the position later.

Hopefully that induces them to be patient and open-minded at 19 overall, taking the best player that falls down the board.

Phillip Gaines is exactly what Miami is looking for in the secondary. If they have a type at corner, he's it. Hips.

I'm a little surprise Moses is shooting up draft boards the way he is...He's got a very good build and Virginia is known for producing good Tackles...

I like this idea.

Plus, James White in the 4th or 5th and I'd be a happy camper.

In the words of Shakira, "Hips don't lie"???

YOWZA!!!!! With Albert and Shelly on one side , or even splitting LT/RG and inserting Su'a-filo at LG and James at RT which is probably a better, more balanced approach with youth and experience - we have an OL that should/could make a significant difference. And add the coaching of Benton and, I'm getting all excited :)

And then... What I would really lose the plot over would be Jeremy Hill - RB LSU in the 3rd.

I do like the Shazier move - however, if it was me [and I know it's not], I actually think we have a pretty good LB corps with Misi at MIKE [yes, I'd move him inside] Jordan at SAM and Ellerbe at WILL.

Speed, athleticism and flexibility at the LB spot - dynamically changes this defence.

EDIT - but... I'd be very excited with Jordan/Misi/Shazier at SAM/MIKE/WILL - then it's another YOWZA!

I would like James and/or Mason. If we're going to waste a pick on a Tennessee linemen we might as well balance it out with a guy who can actually play.

Mason is better than Hyde, IMO. For one thing, he's two full years younger. That type of thing shouldn't be overlooked at that position when the legs go so quickly. I think Hyde is a very poor man's version of Lacy and likewise the kid from Washington is a poor man's version of Bernard.

I don't think we'll get either one, they'll go too high. But of the two, I'd prefer Hyde because he's the stronger short yardage back, and would complement Miller and Moreno perfectly. Then we could cut Daniel Thomas.
