Barry Jackson Notes: Sturgis/Martin Tidbits

What did Martin expect them to do, bake him cookies and listen to Sara McLaughlin music until he returned????

Let Martin hurry up and get on another team so our D can bully him on the field.

Sturgis is another blown draft pick thus far. When you draft a rookie kicker he better be good.

I would not have drafted Sturgis and kept Carp. However, Sturgis did outperform him in camp. At the time, it made no sense to cut Sturgis for Carpenter.

It's a sick day when a jerkoff bum quitter gets paid to sit at home and play PS4 during the 3 critical months of his so called profession.

I want him to rot on our roster next year unpaid unless he shows up and have his people negotiate a trade. F'em

I understand the economics of the decision but it doesn't change the fact that you better be drafting money when you use a pick on a kicker. To many can be found UDFA or in the FA market.

You guys need to let your anger for Martin go. What's done is done and nothing anyone can do will change it. Hopefully the findings are released soon so the organization can move forward.

Stug will be okay! Just a mental battle for him right now. During the preseason and parts of the early games. NO BODY! was complaining about the kid. We were all saying, DAMN! He's hitting those things with ease.

Just Stop it!
Hard to say. He has been in and out of a fog since the Ravens game. No doubt he has shown the ability but I can't help but wonder if he is strong enough mentally to pull himself out of the funk and maintain a clear head.

The Kicker is a serious liability moving forward and who among us can honestly say they feel good about trotting him out there for any kick right now much less a game winner or tie at the end. Look in his eyes...he is scared of the moment and not in a good place before he even takes the field. Im not saying he will never be a NFL kicker...Im just saying he is not there as a rookie and there has got to be better options out there.

When kickers go on a funk it can last a while. Some just nevr recover. I'm hoping he comes out of it of course but only time will tell.

Ozzy rules!!

My theory on Sturgis is the groin issue is affecting his follow through. therebye affecting his phsycy.

Martin us unhappy with how the team reacted to his departure???? Well then powderpuff, its probably you being the problem and not them.
