One thing is Miami doesn't have a lot of talent that you can trade and get a day one or two picks for, so it's hard to build up a lot of good draft picks.

You are right, that's why trading back in the draft is almost always is the smartest move unless you are in the market for a qb. No matter how smart these scouts and gm's think they are, they really don't know who is going to be good or great. They are making well informed educated guesses but they really don't know, so you are better off stockpiling picks so you can take as many "swings" as possible.
