Hidden among all the Heat draft news is a little blurb about the Dolphins.

### Dolphins players have been effusive about how Ryan Tannehill has looked all offseason. Even the deep throws are improved. “Ryan is way better than last year and more of a leader,” tight end Dion Sims said.

I believe this is Sims' 3rd season coming up? So he's had 3 off seasons with Tannehill to offer some perspective.

I'm loving this blurb! It has a lot to do with is jettisoning the divas and handing Ryan the keys. Go fins !

IF RT17 improves yet again this season, there will be some resident Finheaven *experts* heading to the bridge to jump.

Cause all their supposed expert analysis and "informed opinion" has no clue of this higher ceiling.

I have to laugh sometimes -- actually, a lot -- at the pure BS thrown around by some people on this board who esteem their opinions so highly but fail so badly at seeing football reality.

Get any of them on the football field -- playing or coaching -- and you'll see the reality. They ain't football guys at all.

It's going to be enjoyable, to have RT improve yet another year, and watch said "experts" scramble in revisionist form.

I'm always wary of these "most improved" sorts of blurbs. Maybe because I got a few of those trophies as a kid and suddenly in my 20s I realized what they meant.

"You have legs and came near the ball once or twice award" :woot:

Now Walrus is coming nearer the truth: The reality of his own limitations that colors all of his life's commentary, lol.

Realization is slow, sometimes. But helpful at that, lol.

Actually I was a pretty good soccer player. I just didn't like it that much. My weakness was baseball, literally and figuratively. I can hit for power and throw with power but I can't field for **** and could not hit for average to save my life. I remember one time I was playing third base in practice and our best player hit a ground ball to me. He hustles for first and I throw an absolute laser... that plunks him right in the ribs. I mean not that long after that I got on a speed gun and threw it 80 mph. Just not anywhere in particular.

I've always thought be passed the eyeball test. Not surprised he's turning into a star at all!

Wonderful news. Now let's see it in action before I get too excited.
