barry Jackson Sports Buzz- Hartline: Best receiver group we've had here

As for the rest of the article...here's how I would stack things (prediction, not preference):

3 QB: David Garrard, Matt Moore, Ryan Tannehill
4 RB: Reggie Bush, Daniel Thomas, Lamar Miller, Steve Slaton
2 FB: Charles Clay, Jerome Messam
3 TE: Anthony Fasano, Michael Egnew, Les Brown
5 WR: Brian Hartline, Davone Bess, Chad Johnson, Clyde Gates, Rishard Matthews
8 OL: Jake Long, Richie Incognito, Mike Pouncey, Artis Hicks, Jonathan Martin, Lydon Murtha, Ray Feinga, Josh Samuda
9 DL: Cameron Wake, Jared Odrick, Paul Soliai, Randy Starks, Olivier Vernon, Jamaal Westerman, Tony McDaniel, Kheeston Randall, Derrick Shelby
7 LB: Karlos Dansby, Kevin Burnett, Koa Misi, Josh Kaddu, Jason Trusnik, Gary Guyton, Cameron Collins
5 CB: Vontae Davis, Sean Smith, Richard Marshall, Nolan Carroll, Quinten Lawrence
4 S: Reshad Jones, Chris Clemons, Jimmy Wilson, Kelcie McCray
3 ST: Dan Carpenter, Brandon Fields, John Denney

You are right 100%, he needs to prove he belongs. This time around he wont stick with only "potential".

I hope some Receivers do show they are TRUE NFL players, BUT ....

With all due respect ... why do people get all attached to marginal players for no apparent reason? If they're from your alma mater or something OK ... but out side of a good reason, ????????

Even if they make the team, their chance of sticking for a couple years is not good.

We've been down this same road many many years with so many players ... I just don't get it. We need talent!! We need stars!!

A few years ago I stated that our turn-over will be about 100% before we even have a winning record ... folks were aghast & couldn't believe it. Wouldn't surpise me if our turn-over for last 4-5 years is approaching 200% & we STILL don't have that winning record.

NOTE: 100% doesn't mean we turn-over everyone ... just means we've turned over 52 on a 52-man roster.

I think there is some depth to the WR corps that many others don't. There aren't a whole lot of names there other than Chad Johnson, but I think there is some talent.
Best ever since Brian has been here? I dunno. They haven't been great at any point he's been here, so it's not saying a lot.
I mean he's improved, Bess, and everyone else, along with a possibly rejuvenated Chad Johnson. He could be right.

The Dolphins consider Trusnick to be their best special teams player...

Isn't that the dude who seems to get called for holding on about 50 percent of our special teams returns?

Prediction: Pruitt will make the team as the final WR, with his special teams contributions giving him a slight edge.

The only reason I gave it credence was because CK had stated before that he thought he was in the hospital over a removed testicle
