Basketball Diaries and Chris Chambers

After losing out on Chambers, I start thinking about all the players who've played well for this team (really since '93) and has since faded away. This season has been brutal, and there needs to be a moment in honor of all those Surtains, Madisons, Zachs, Penningtons etc., etc.

I just started thinking of that scene in Basketball Diaries, when the gang just gets s**t drunk after the funeral and play Basketball in the rain to that "people have died" song. Man, their were a lot of great young actors in that film(DiCaprio, Wahlberg, Whatshername?). It gives me a little closure to the Chris Chambers of the world.

Meh, seeing uber young Mark Wahlberg grinning from ear to ear in the Shotgun dream sequence did it for me, but yeah I'm like Chris Farley interviewing Paul Mc Cartney with these extra etherial posts (re-re-remember the time...)
