Battle to Watch: Offensive Line

Hopefully, no OL get hurt this year!! That depth is expansion level bad!!

Eich cannot play tackle, sucks at guard, and is capable of snapping the ball, but that's about it. Borom has been equally as bad as Eich at tackle. The other names are just a random list of people nobody has ever heard of outside of Matos who gives us an extra roster spot, being that he's international.
This is what happens to the OL after an injury.

I'm just hoping this unit can stay healthy. The insertion of Paul, Savaiinaea and Brewer should help with that.

If Paul, Brewer and Jackson make it through the season I think we'll be okay. I think the Guards will take time to develop with Savaiinaea being young and Daniels returning from serious injury. Again, I look for the unit to trend upwards through the course of the season.

I have no doubt this unit will get some additional attention next year if anything goes awry, particularly with Jackson & Daniels coming off injury.

They’ll get $10mm for trading Ramsey after 6/1. Dude, I JUST said that. ;)
Don't count your chickens until they've hatched. - LOL
That really is good advice.

Be prepared for his being gone - YES.
Count on his being gone - Then if he doesn't go or, is delayed for a few games before leaving, you have a problem that you can only blame on yourself.

While I'm pretty sure Ramsey is going to be somewhere else this year, I'm not betting on where, when or how.

Be prepared for either eventuality, that's my view.

By the way, I understand a certain left tackle that is retiring was in for practice today. Chew on that! - LOL

Not to defend Grier, but offensive line talent and depth is a league wide issue with the exception of Philadelphia and a few other teams.
It is...and many of us remember a time when Miami was that exception. I think we've paid for it long enough, we need another round excellence to befall this team.
