Before the Carolina game a lot of members thought the sky was falling in Miami. So many people didn't think Ricky had enough left to get the job done as a starter, Porter was already cut, our WRs couldn't catch, and Henne wasn't cut out for the NFL.

I have to admit I got on Ginn and other for the drops, but they did an amazing job on Thursday night. Haynos was the only player I saw drop a ball. Bess was obviously the standout, but Ginn deserves some respect for once. He didn't drop a pass, and made a couple huge catches. I hope this catches on, and Ginn gets some confidence.

The best thing about our WRs was it seems they are getting use to Henne. With as much as we ran the wild cat, and how Henne and Pennington our polar opposites, we had to know it would take time for Henne to get the timing down with his WRs. It is very nice to see that every week that timing is getting better, and more plays are being made in the passing game.

I still cry thinking about us taking Jamar Fletcher over Brees, but I am falling in love with Henne as our franchise QB. Watching him grow as a starting QB is awesome. The strides he takes ever game is unbelievable. Remember when Pennington first went down and Henne would take too many sacks? Sparano went public with how he needed to get better with this. What is more impressive than the fact he didn't get sacked for the 2nd straight week was he still does not make mistakes by throwing ints instead of getting sacked. He only has 4 ints and 2 were not his fault. I don't want to jinx us, but the hell of Feidler, Lucas, Feely, Culpepper, Green, and Beck, seriously looks to be over!

My point here was there are a lot of things to be excited about as a Dolphan. Sparano is getting the most out of players most of the NFL has never heard of, and despite horrible luck with injuries every time someone goes down it seems their replacement from the practice squad or the bench has stepped up. We had to suffer while Wanstedt and Cam wasted draft picks, but our current regime is doing everything right, and I love it!!!

So after one game, you're declaring Williams can carry the load for the remainder of the season? Ok...

I agree with you, but you're jumping the gun too quickly.

No, after 2 100 yard games in 5 days, and his 10 total TDs this season, I would say he can be a number one RB for the rest of the season. He gets 10days off, and has to be the #1 for 6 games. It also seems that Lex will be able to take some of the preasure off of him. Do you realize he only needs 323 yards in 6 games to have a 1000 yard season? After he broke our hearts after the 2003 season to go smoke weed did anyone ever imagine we would witness Ricky run for 1000 yards and 10+ TD in a Dolphin uniform again?

I just think it's a bit early to declare he can do it. He already isn't happy about the whole situation.

I think Ricky is more unhappy about maybe being in the limelight he doesn't want that we all know that. As far as can he be the #1 back i believe he knows he can do it. Playing football you can't have a lot, if any doubt about your abilities. I don't think Ricky does also i believe his legs and the rest of his body isn't all banged up like a normal 32 yr old running back might be . I believe he has taken care of his body pretty good at least everything i have heard about how he takes care of hisself.

He has never wanted to start after all that crap in 2003-2004. He has hated starting ever since the 2002 season when he was burned out. That's why he resorted to pot, because he was so stressed and he hated the media, and he still does. Being a starter, he knows the media is going to address him more and more. He may know he can carry the load, but he certainly doesn't want to.
