of you thought we would be up by 35 points at the half and get to see Henne in some mop-up duty.

I know I did and that pick-6 changed everything. Although we let them back in the game, I think we needed a game like this to bring the team back to reality.

Not that crazy, but i didn't think they'd come within 10 points. Especially after the 14-0 start.

This was the first game all year that I felt really good about a win though I didn't expect an *** kicking like the Jets had.

I'd like one next week just to settle my nerves

I wasnt considering this a free win like most people. The hawks are a much better team then their record. Imo i dont want Henne in for the rest of the season. The division is to close and we are contending for a playoff spot, we can't afford rookie mistakes right now...

I expected us to lose this game close, so I'm happy to see us win the game close.

We're not an elite team, we're a scrappy team. There isn't one part of our game we can depend on, but we're getting better each week. Our run game isn't dominating, our passing isn't much better, run d disappears at times, etc etc.

But we still won the game, and thats what matters. This kind of win builds character, and you could see the effort on the field for the defense today.

I usually try to be the voice of moderation...I get bashed regularly for being a pessimist, but, hey...35 years of Dolphins fandom...What do I know, right?!

People were predicting a romp in the Texans game....The Ravens game....

I mentioned it a coule of times but nobody wants to come down off the high they get in thier head. This team still lacks the consistancy to put together dominating games. We are on the right path but we're very uneaven right now.

I didn't have these thought until we scored our quick 14 on them. It looked like we were going to have our way with them until the pick-6.

Yeah I thought that when we went up 14-0 early, but im just happy with the big W :hi5:

the fact that this team didn't give up after that shows the strides we've made.

I agree 100%. Other teams could have folded under pressure. We stepped it up on the Ronnie Brown TD drive and our Defense made plays when it counted the most (2 pt conversion attempt and 4th down play to guarantee victory)

There is no such thing as an easy win no matter what the score or the records of the teams involved. The Seahawks came out and played a good game, then in the end they did what the Seahawks do; they lost the game. Miami on the other hand came out, and played a tough game, and did what winners do down at the wire. You mention Olindo Mare, yes, I was terrified. I believe to this day that we never should have got rid of him. He used to consistantly nail 55 yard field goals, and even now with his age, he blows Carpenter away.

They dropped some key passes. Otherwise they win the game. Let's not even pretend like we outplayed them or deserved to win. They just failed to execute on some plays that we left open for them and that was the difference in the game.

Never mind dude. Aqua glasses thread.

I said before the game that it was going to be close so i didnt think it would happen
