Bears/Dolphins Switcharoo continues

Jeeze. Maybe the owners are friends or something.

I had a feeling Jenkins would never clear waivers. I was hoping he wouldn't, but oh well.

Yep I posted this in General NFL... wasn't sure it fit in Dolphins. But yep Jenkins landed in Chicago and will be backup again. Go Jenkins!

Why couldn't we get a conditional pick for him? We got a conditional pick for Brad Bedell for sake.

heh must be embarrassing to Chicago though. They ditched their 4th round LB from THIS draft for Jenkins.

Lets remember too, that Miami traded up in the 6th to draft him just last year.

Player drafted after Jenkins?

Drew Henson. A player Miami was about to give up a higher pick this year for.

This teams moves amaze me sometimes.

But you have to remember, hind sight is ALWAYS 20/20. We don't know who as snowballing us at the time in the draft.

Seriously, does anybody think that Jenkins is a better LB or special teamer than either of the guys we drafted this year? That certainly wasn't the impression I got from reading the training camp reports on this board.

Glad that another team in the other conference thinks they can find a use for him. He struck me as a good kid.

Yeah I do... but as my name implies I'm biased in that field.;) Hope the Bears use him good.

I can't believe we dumped him.
That guy, I thought, had shown some GREAT promise.

Corey Jenkins played HARD.......problem is that he is not as good as any of the LB's we have on the roster.

Age doesn't matter. He hasn't worn himself out in the NFL... He's played one year... He doesn't have the wear and tear he would if he'd been in the NFL since he was 24. Sure it all gets harder after 30 and he's just out of his rookie year and two years from that but I think he's got a lot to show and a long time left to show it. He'll prove himself when he can in Chicago... Stop hounding the age thing. Go Jenkins!
