I think some fans are overreacting to the loss on Monday night. It was a preseason game, and our offense didn't prepare a specific plan of attack to counter everything the Bears were running on defense.

I think it is as simple as the Bears being familiar with Linehan's offense. While the personnel is different, the Bears have seen the formations and the routes twice a year for the last 3 years. It was more important for their team to test out a few defensive wrinkles to prepare for their two games with the Vikings this year.

good point.

either way we just need to get to the next preseason game so people will let this one go. But good point, never thought about that before.

:rofl3:

I dont think we did anything similar to what theyre going to see from the Vikings this year. What we did on both sides of the ball was VANILLA.

agreed

We didn't run anything that resembles Minnesota's offense. We didn't gameplan against the Bears.

Defensive Bad Back

I was thinking on Monday night that with the amount of passes and near completions allowed by the Dolphins, this year could be much like last year only they won't even be close games.

I know it is early for such a comment, but it already went through my head and others as well.

I hope they get some help on Defense. I don't really understand letting Surtain go and still not having a good offensive production.

Why couldn't the schedule makers put the fins on my Colts schedule? Peyton would rip that defense apart and the fins pathetic offense would have put up maybe a hundred yards. I can see the headlines now, "Ricky Williams rush's for a 100 yards....on 40 attempts. :rofl3:
