An above average safety mind you.

I can offer up Mark Anderson, or my third round (66) pick. Both for a star safety.

Also I wouldnt pass up the chance for a playmaker at WR.

Well there was Kenny Phillips available in the first round... oh wait.... :shakeno:

That's why I was looking to trade also down to #26.

Honestly though I don't like Phillips that much. Following his career, he was an underacheiver who was never quite able to be a pure safety or athletic enough to be a pure corner.

Between him and Calais, I had Campbell ranked higher.

Funny, I thought Calias went about a half round too early (who I was interested in...and WHERE I had a pick), and I was trying to trade up for Campbell....offering a Sanders in the process, lol.

If you think about it, before this season a lot of people were calling Campbell a top 10 pick. He had a down year stat wise, but it seems like in every game he was getting double teams and in a lot of cases getting bumped by the back at the same time.

At 6'8 he isn't the fastest DE in the leage, but his mix of size and speed (his best time was 4.89 I believe, that is plenty good for a monster his size) makes him dangerous.

Plus on my defensive line it would be very hard to double team him, or any end for that matter.

Anyway back to safeties

Lol, ahem...any interest in James Sanders?
