Why is it rediculous? They're 2-2 against the AFC East alone. Imagine if they played SD, Denver, Indy, Baltimore, etc..

MR NFLFAN said:Maybe the bears would be interested in picking up Culpepper and Miami could dump him there for maybe a 4th or 5th round pick.
SCall13 said:I don't think it's over reacting at all. What it boils down to is, as good as Chicago is, they'd be markedly better with a more efficient QB. Rex Grossman single-handedly makes Chicago very beatable in every game. It's not realistic for a team to make a Super Bowl run with a QB who can hurt you like Grossman is hurting Chicago. Hell, Grossman kept ARIZONA in the game. He makes terrible throws, whereas Griese's biggest strength is his accuracy. Lack of accuracy is why Grossman throws so many INTs. It's not necassarily terrible decisions, it's where he's putting the ball. Griese would be a big improvement.
Does it matter how muchs yards they throw? Grossman forces throws mind you he isnt showing why he should be their starter.Nappy Roots said:i dont think Griese is that much more accurate then Grossman. Griese just throws 3 yard passes every throw and Grossman throws 30 yard passes every time. the problem is Grossman goes deep almost every throw. how many of his INTs are short throws? then need to pull the reigns up on Rex and start throwing short stuff.
Honestly, the Bears may be just a wildcard team in the AFC.Metal Panda said:That's ridiculous. Is there anybody who doesn't operate under the guise of hyperbole on this board?
