The Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins had a first round they’d like to forget in the 2015 NFL draft. Both teams dipped into the talented wide receiver pool that year, and they’re still waiting for results.
Chicago selected Kevin White seventh overall. He’s still searching for his first career touchdown. Yes, he’s been hurt, but that’s no longer an excuse in 2018. He’s healthy, he’s playing, and he has yet to be targeted in the passing game this season.
DeVante Parker, by comparison, has had more success than White, but he’s inching closer to bust status this year. His only appearance this season came in Week 3 when he caught two passes for 40 yards against the Raiders.
Parker’s best season came in 2016. He totaled 56 catches for 744 yards and four touchdowns, production that falls way short of his first-round (14th overall) status.
