Some of you guys have no idea what hazing is about and what is harassment and thievery. Hazing is meant to bond you to your teammates, in your mutual humiliation a teacher student relationship is supposed to be formed. It is why it usually limited to a week not everyday. The guys do something stupid to you like paint a dick on your head and then you buy a dinner and then you have a mutual laugh about it and then veteran is supposed to say he look when I was your age the guys did this to me lol so don't feel bad hey I saw your technique I know few tricks etc..... Not by me dinner bitch pick up my laundry go get my luggage. How are you supposed to be brothers in arms if you can't stand the guy next to you? Jokes are one thing all men in a group situation try to out alpha one another but this was rampant thieving and demanded tribute and beyond excess of humiliation. How can you act as a cohesive unit if the guy next to you is scheming how to ruin your day every day.

Hazing leads to the thievery and harassment. Most people can do the stupid stuff like haircuts or painting your forehead etc. There are a few who take it way to far and it ruins what is perceived as fun and bonding for team mates.

Wait... But what I don't understand is the... MARTIN IS NOT A ROOKIE!!! So if this was still going on well into his second year in the league then there is a HUGE issue in that locker room! In most locker Rooms hazing is between vets and rookies, starters and backups etc... Martin was just as high in the food chain as Richie if not higher! Second round pick starting Tackle etc... This tells me that there is some truth to this story that some players abused the hazing and right of passage concept and took it too far!
