I agree.

Darian Barnes as much as I was happy for him in the offseason was awful that last game. His pass protection was terrible and I can remember him being the direct cause of one sack. His run blocking was no better. And finally he may have improved his offensive play but I still think Beasley is an upgrade in this area as well.

Yeah i tend to agree with you. However, he was cut for a reason. I'm sure it was more complicated than him just having a bad preseason

If it was really a neck and neck battle, the tie probably went to the young guy. I was also dissapointed in Barnes play, especially with his protection with Porter's first sack. Still, I would like to see him out there again. The guy can be a beast and move piles. Hopefully he can work the kinks out and rebound against Buffalo.

If Beasley was getting it done why did the 49ers part ways with him and why did this coaching staff decide to release him. The knock on him was he got lazy in his latest years.

Let's see if you guys are right and Miami looks to pick him up again, but I think your just looking for comfort in a known name instead of giving Barnes a chance to grow or evolve.
