''Our guys are excited to see how we're going to play against one of the best backs in the league,'' Gray said. ''We brought guys in to put a stop to that, and we'll see. Ricky's a great running back. He's going to get some yards. You're not going to shut Ricky out. The biggest thing we've got to do is do our job, get turnovers and win the football game.''

NFL: Fins pass defense a thing of the past?

"It's kind of like the chicken-and-the-egg thing," Taylor said. "They work hand in hand. If you have a good rush and no coverage, it's not going to do you any good. If you have good coverage and no rush, it's not going to do you any good."

Can't believe there is so much garbage to read after only week 2.

Tell you guys what, if one of these teams doesn't show up to play on Sun., it's gonna be a blowout. Both these teams are looking at this game as their first true test of the season, or so it seems.

Even Seau said last night that a team that plays in the AFC East can never lay down, not even one week. It's just such a competitive division and every time it's played with intensity.

This is a like mostly a afc championship game...

Isn't that crazy, in week 3 no less, but we're still getting better, learning new stuff, we won't really click until week 7, this is a different trend that our past years, where Wanny had them in midseason form in week one, now they're building up to the midseason point, this may bode well for the end for a change.

I thought the fins were fast starters and December chokers? Very uncharacteristic of the fins to start slow and finish strong , don't you think?

Yes very different for the Fins... that's why we can have hope that this year will be different.. it is also very uncharacteristic for them to win in the Meadowlands. :D

Dolphins cornerback Patrick Surtain refused to speak with reporters again Thursday about the spitting incident involving Eric Moulds. Surtain, during an interview Wednesday night on ESPN, said he and Moulds never had a beer together at the Pro Bowl or got together in Mississippi, as Moulds claimed.

A story about the incident was hanging on a bulletin board in the Dolphins' locker room Thursday, with Moulds' quotes highlighted. Hanging on a wall in the locker room were pictures of Moulds, Drew Bledsoe, Ruben Brown, Henry, Takeo Spikes and London Fletcher.
