Beck being shopped

With Romo missing atleast a month, The Phins might have their best chance to ship Beck out here. If this has any chance of happening now is the time.
 
I have no doubt that this front office is working real hard to get a trade that will take Beck out of Miami. However, I doubt they will settle for anything. You can bet that the day before the final cut that they were interested more in trading Beck than McCown. I think they were probably looking for a 4th or 5th round pick, but when they couldn't, they decided to keep Beck and ship McCown out for a 7th round pick.

If they can get a 5th or 6th round pick, I bet he gets traded tomorrow. If not, I think he stays at least until next March.
 
Beck and a mid round pick Does not equal a First rounder.


Which is what Detroit wants. Why would they lower their asking price?
 
Det Needs a QB we have beck we need a #1 WR they have Roy williams and we would have to give them a Draft pick of course

Because everyone is balking at it.

I believe if they don't resign him, they'll get nothing when he goes via FA next year. Don't they need to get rid of him? With Johnson on the other side, they aren't going to pay him.

Exactly, come March 1 they run the VERY likely risk of just getting nothing for him. After tomorrow Roy Williams career in Detroit is over, even if he isn't traded and has to wait it out the rest of the year.
