Since Beck wasn't drafted by Parcells its evident he's not going to get the same chance as Henne. I keep hearing how in love Parcell was with Henne then tell me why he wasn't picked #32 and not #57? It would of been interesting if Brohm wasn't picked at #56 by Green Bay. I can't stand new coaching regimes getting rid of players they didn't draft because they're afraid of the media saying they messed up with their draft pick. Feeley kicked 23 out of 26 field goals last year and he got released by a kicker that kickoffs land around the 10 yard line. I hate to see Beck come back to bite us like Welker has and will in the future.

Henne wasn't picked at #32 b/c Merling, a projected mid-first rounder fell to them, and with 2 second rounds picks they obviously decided to gamble. It paid off. It's well know the Miami draft office was holding their breath when Green Bay was picking and let out a cheer when Brohm was picked. As far as Wes goes, he never would have played like that for us b/c we don't have the personel and he was going to N.E. anyway, trade or no trade.

The hatred towards Beck on this site is a lot like AJ's, that I know.

I wondered that too, but i've seen reports that the Phins war room erupted when Brohm's name was called at 56 and not Henne. Leading up to the draft, Parcells friends Mort and Peter King all said BP was high on Henne.

If that was true.. which I doubt about erupting in the War Room .. then they would of moved up spots to pick him earlier to make sure. Let's be realistic... If Henne was so wanted they would of moved up from #57 to make sure he would get pick by us. Think about it logically...not with your heart.

I disagree. I think that Henne was just the higest player left on their board at the time. I also think that if Quentin Groves was still on the board we would have taken him over Henne. It really seems almost like the Jags traded up for Groves to spite us for not giving them JT for cheap and they knew that we wanted him.
