being a supporter of beck i was a little bummed by the henne pick. that being said i really dont see the huge difference in the two. they are both about the same height /weight. they both seem to have the same attitude about football with maybe the edge being given to beck.. i could go on and on about comparing the two. the one advantage that henne has is equal to what beck has over him. henne was picked by the new regime and beck has already been working in the "system".. however i think the cream will rise to the top. and after sleeping on the pick and getting over the initial shock i am confident that Beck will be just fine .. and if hes not, than whatever is best for the phins is best for me..
i dont know what your guys professions are, but im an ironworker. not an NFL caliber GM or VP of an NFL team..

Beck simply isnt in the plans for the future of this team. The sooner Beck lovers face that fact the better off they are going to be.

i guess your an insider or a fortune teller???

No but I have read a Parcells biography a few years ago and Im familiar with his philosophies. That has played a role into the posts I made a few days ago being dead on as to what types of players and positions he would go after in this draft.

And on top of that I have common sense and can realize that Beck isnt in the plans to be our QB down the line. Its not difficult to figure out man.

First of all, Beck just isnt very good. Secondly Henne is the guy Parcells HAND PICKED. Hes the guy they want to lead the team in 1-3 years. McCown is a stop gap starter. Beck was asked to bulk up in the hopes they can keep Henne on the shelf for a year or two and Beck can hopefully fill the backup role should McCown be injured for a game or two. Just study a little. Its not hard to figure out.

well WVdolphan,i think it's time you changed out ur sig/avatar or whatever that Matt Ryan pic is called.

I like Beck and I like Henne. I don't care which of the three play as long as one of them will make plays! WV I agree with most of the things you have to say, but you need to get over this hate of Beck. Put it down man. I can't tell you what kind of a QB he is going to be or Henne for that matter, I just want one of them to step up and be the guy. I am not looking for Marino again, I just want a solid QB who can make the throws, read coverages and be smart with the ball. With our offensive line moves in the offseason I think we'll be able to tell if Beck can play or Henne can play or even McCown. We shall see.

No that's not it at all! We only had 2 qbs on our roster. We needed one more. IMO I think it's great to have 2 young QBS compete for the starting position. The competition will make them both better qbs.

well good luck in your preminition.. all i can say is I hope your wrong.. be that as it may go dolphins

why don't you go cheer for the Falcons since you love Matt Ryan so much.

I was completely mad with the pick.. i flipped out.. i wanted a cb... but i mean now that we have him im gonna look at the bright side, and hope that this will help us get the BEST qb in the future.. i still like beck.. but at least henne isnt a 40 year old rookie

Henne was brought in for competition, plain and simple. All the Ryan lovers who are pissed, and taking their hate out on Beck and giving the ball to Henne before he has even been to a NFL QB school need to stop sniffing glue.
