John Beck went from his team potentially selecting a Quarterback 1st overall, admitting there is no confidence in him, to his team selecting an All American 6-7, 315 pound Left Tackle to protect his blind side.
 
Oh, Beck was probably doing cartwheels when he found out Jake Long is a Miami Dolphin. I'm sure Ronnie Brown was equally excited as well. I expect Beck will probably buy Jake Long a nice steak dinner when he gets back from New York.
 
what about ronnie brown, lorenzo booker, and ricky williams? they are now the most feared running trio in the league.. how many yards per carry will we average? my guess is 5.8 yards per

not so sure about all that.. though i think we will be a lot better now.. im not sure 5.8 is right. Also i dont know why everyone seems to think ricky is gonna be ricky we have not seen him perform in long time now.. but speaking of long i cant wait to see our hogs up front they are all monsters :kick:
 
if beck's happy, i'm even happier. we got the guy i wanted. :)
 
well ronnie averaged 5.1 last year, im just guessing that an extra .7 should be correct! and ricky dont worry about ricky... like someone stated a long time ago.. ricky williams is probably one of the most gifted running backs in nfl history
 
Beck knew we werent gonna pick a Qb #1 I dont think he really cares to be honest. Hes set up to prove why he was highly touted out of college with a better line and hopefully we draft a Wr in the draft. Add the work hes put in this off season and i actually feel confident bout our offense
 
yea i know what you mean.. trust me i am a big ricky fan cause i to love the potski but... he is getting older and im just not sure what to expect out of him.. and ronnie is coming off a serious injury . But trust me i am loving the idea of this new O line all working together

That LT was to protect the blindside of McCown or Henne/brohm/Ryan. Not Beck. Beck is not the guy.
 
hopefully he's spending his time practicing rather than worrying abouyt draft issues - otherwise were screwed!!
