I dont know if it's been posted yet, but John Clayton said last night on Sirius that Beck is being shoppped to all 31 teams by the Dolphins FO.

Is this old?

Im not a hater of Beck, but do realize Henne has the number 2 spot locked up, maybe first soon.

Henne has deffitnetly impressed, but he still has alot to work on. Last night even though he showed great pocket pressence and a cannon of an arm. He could have had 1 or 2 picks.

Why throw him in there so soon. Let him learn behind a great vet like Pennington and when he is ready you unleash him.

As long as this team is successful that's the most important thing. I really like Beck, I think he's gotten a raw deal, but that's football sometimes. I think this team has gone through so many changes the last 7 years that Beck was just caught up in that. I don't care where he goes "IF" he's traded or released, I'll be rooting for him.

I was a "Beck Supporter" since we drafted the guy... or at least up until i saw what Henne and Penny can do. Beck just hasn't done enough to show me that he can start in this league and i do hope he finds success elsewhere but i think we are over him. I think that Henne will be a great QB for us IN THE FUTURE! for now i think Penny is a great stop gap and tutor for young skywalker, i mean Henne. The Chads will dominate the QB position for the next 2 years and then Henne will be starter. (next year he might win job also)

Go Phins!

OT: do you guys think this is a good quote? "everyone has the desire to win, but what you need is the desire to prepare to win"

Henne is the future, but Pennington will start as long as he remains healthy or Miami is winning. The only way your gonna see a healthy Penninton pulled is if the Fins tank.

I disagree. Assuming he stays healthy I would say that Pennington will be our QB for at least the next three years.

Couldn't have said/typed it better:up:

Yes.

I had hight hopes for Beck when we drafted him but it is what it is, Henne is our future QB whether people like it or not. I hope he does well wherever he goes cause he's a good guy and a hard worker.

Beck needs to go somewhere else and get a fresh start. Preferably as far away from Miami as he can possibly be. Ideally, for him it would be good to go to San Francisco, out on the West Coast, and play under an Offensive Coordinator like Mike Martz who was and probably still is high on him and his abilities. Beck's days in Miami are over, I wish it would've been different. However, it was just not meant to be.

pennington will be a starter for a while but i think we should shop mccown not beck

McCown is being kept to be a backup for our injury prone starter. When we signed Pennington, we showed we wanted to be competitive. Beck would end the competitive streak.

It does suck though we had to spend a 2nd round pick on him. That's on Cam and I wish it wasn't that way. Hopefully this new regime will right the ship, what's it been, 20 years it seems since we've been good? Time for Beck to go bye bye. Henne showed me more promise and poise than I've yet to see from Beck. A change would suit him well.
