Beck Number 2 on Depth Chart

that doesnt make any sense:foundout:..
They just dont want to see henne head down a simular path as beck. A career clipboard holder.

What?

I figured my lovable sarcastic tone about Beck made it clear that i was saying Chad Henne IS the number two, and if he wasn't he wouldn't be taking more snaps than Beck, be playing MUCH more in the pre-season than Beck and have a spot so secure that the Dolphins have reportedly tried to trade Beck.

Yeah your lovable sarcasm didn't work this time :sidelol::sidelol::sidelol:

Ya I cannot see Beck ahead of Henne. if it was based on any kind of skill then he should be behind.

However... just because Henne is the QB of the future doesn't mean he is the #2 option right now. He's just a rookie, after all.

Clearly the regime likes Henne a lot but -trying to look at it objectively and not through Beck-hating-glasses-, it's not an obvious call. After all, Beck beat McCown, who likely would've been the #2 had he stayed. Do we agree on that? (Or did I just get myself into a passionate fanatical argument? If so I'm outta here :) )

Just remember what Bill Parcells said when he was first asked about John Beck's performance last season. He said Beck would not have played at all last year if he was the Headcoach. The only rookie QB Parcells ever put on the field was Drew Bledsoe.

While it is interesting that they listed him as #2, I wonder if they are just sticking with their "seniority" order until game 1.

Not sure why they wold do that, but it is odd that they played Henne so much and he isn't listed at #2.
