Someone stated on the BYU board that there was a radio interview with John today.

Anyone have a link to the radio station that gave the interview or where I could find it?

Thanks in advance.

He was on Sirius radio, ch. 124. I only caught part of it, he talked about how he has been hitting the weights hard, working on all of his throws, how he knows the team will be bringing in competition for his job. He mentioned JT's upcoming appearance on Dancing with the Stars and that he thought Joey P. would be giving JT a hard time about it. If you don't have Sirius radio you can go to their website http://www.sirius.com/getsiriusand get a free three day online trial. Sirius is the best $13 I spend every month.

i heard it streaming here at work

he is always very impressive when you hear him speak, and very likable guy...

he said he was surprised about ZT being released, and the rest was just typical NFL QB type responses...

who goes on a BYU message board?

Maybe someone like the thread starter who had the smarts to look for some information on our young QB prospect Beck we would miss if he hadn't.

give the guy a break huh. :rolleyes2:

I listened to it on Sirius this morning. Fairly cliche for the most part.

They asked/He talked about...
The games he was "thrown into last year" : He said it was a good learning experience, admitted there was some errors on his part that can't happen, his teamates were very supportive and told him to do his thing and not to worry its not like the record could get any worse.

: He talked about JT on dancing with the stars.
: They asked what he thought about the guys who passed on quinn and taking him are now gone, what that meant to him. He said he liked the confidence they had in him, and hopes the new coaching staff can believe in him.
: about a new qb coming in and taking his starting spot, he said as a nfl qb you always have to prepare and play as if someone else could take your job.
: About trent green being released. Was very fortunate that Green helped teach him directly and indirectly by the way he interacts with players, coaches and his game approach/mentality.

He overall recognized there is lots left to learn for him but he's working additmently at doing so. He mentioned the whole team wants to move forward and not think about last year and look to what lays ahead and try to help this team in 2008 win games.

I really liked his attitude, he was polite, gracious and realized alot as a second year qb. He mentioned the circumstances weren't the best for his first few snaps but he was grateful he at least got some to build off of for this season, even though they weren't "ideal". The kids head is in the right place (as many on here already know) lets hope he can translate it on the field.

I agree with you guys on Sirius. The NFL channel alone is worth the $13 and if you're into Howard Stern then it's the best thing since sliced bread.

Have any of you guys noticed that the NFL channel always has mic issues? It's not a big deal when you're in your car with the volume cranked, but when I'm at work streaming and need to keep the volume down, one guy always sounds really loud, and I can't hear the other guy. Oh well, guess I need to invest in some headphones.

Sirius Obnoxious Radio!!!

I love Sirius and the NFL station but I find that Adam Schein character hard to digest at times, I think the word that comes to mind when I hear him is maybe, um??OBNOXIOUS and Solomon Wilcots doesn't help either but overall it's an awesome station, plus I have HAIR NATION!!! DEF LEPPARD,POISON, BON JOVI etc. Sirius is GREAT!!!

Howard is the best, my dad and i love it. Expecially when they do Reily Martin and make fun of Artie. So many funny thinks, Bubba, Reily Martin, etc.

I really want him to get his fair share a QB! Live and die by him!

Howard Rules!!

Howard is the best, my dad and i love it. Expecially when they do Reily Martin and make fun of Artie. So many funny thinks, Bubba, Reily Martin, etc.
I love Howard in the morning, they were playing the best of Artie's calling in sick messages and they were hilarious on top of the group making fun of him, great radio!

Can anyone say...Matt Ryan?!!! :hi5:

I can't see Miami tying more cash into another 1st or 2nd round QB, I bet Miami goes after Pennington or Grossman. I really hope not Grossman but really think it will come down to either of those two. Ryan would be a reach unless he fell way down the draft. I don't think this will happen.

I doubt that the Dolphins will draft a guy, pay him 40 million guaranteed and then he won't even have the sure starting job. too much to invest if you aren't sure he will be your franchise QB when you already have a project QB. Give Beck a chance. It is very unfair to judge Beck on a team with a bad O-line and little receiving talent. He wasn't even able to put some of the workload on a good running back like brown. None to little mistakes against the top defense on a bad turf should show he can be better.
