Penny can not throw deep and has trouble getting into the endzone. Henne shouldnt even sniff the field because of him being a rookie. Beck is more accurate, has a nice deep ball, very mobile and doesnt stare down his recievers, i saw Henne doing that on the last drive. Oh yeah and everything that the coaches have been doing the last 2 games seems to be wrong so do the opposite. Start Beck, Ronnie, and Ginn should be returning kicks too. Also somethin isnt right with the secondary.

Let's not get into this. As far as I can tell, based on the amount of training camp and preseason work all of the players involved got, and based on what I've seen on the field, the guy that maybe should be starting right now is probably Chad Henne.

No. Henne is the future. Penny is a good player surrounded by horrible ones. Not to mention the prevent that Arizona fell into on the one Henne TD drive.

Bottom line our QB is not the biggest problem right now!

You have got to be kidding me?

Yeah, then we can throw the one thing that we've been good at (not turning the ball over) right out the window

Well Beck will be an interception machine as he is indecisive and plays scared or atleast he did last year. He was scared to get hit, if thats who you want QBing for your team good luck to you. Beck is product of Cameron, which amounts to crap imo. He should of taken Quinn, Ginn instead of Ginn, Beck. Even though Quinn hasnt proven much either but atleast he has poise. Beck is like a chicken with his head cut off out there. I just dont think hes cut out for this.

After Beck's first game, all the papers an fans were touting Beck's poise. Penny was brought in not to turn ethe ball over with no better results. What's the difference. Yesterday was a total embarrasssment after all the chances the trifecta made. I knew the Jets game was a set up for disappoinment. Penny knew the Jets inside and out and still coulnd't beat them.

Beck would fumble the first snap.

Putting Beck in any game would be like throwing meat into shark infested waters. Our opponents would tear us apart.

John "doogie howser" Beck just can't cut it in the NFL.

That is a thought. There's really no reason to try to win a game this season. Going for the #1 overall pick is what you're saying?

Henne is whatever he makes himself into. He's not going to be the future just by default. He'll have to earn it.

And if you think Arizona played a prevent defense, you honestly do not know the meaning of the term.

Henne should start. He started in the Big House as a boy and my gut is he doesn't need the hand holding through his first season. If Henne doesn't start than I'd rather see what Butterfingers Beck could do rather than hit our heads against the wall with another week of Noodle Arm.

I think many fans have a tough time seeing the Pennington experiment working at the moment and they would be right, cause it's not. Chad clearly can't get any distance or zip on the ball, teams that face us know this and things will not chnage no matter how creative our OC gets. Pennington has limits, combine that with this team having zero confidence and cohesiveness and it's clear we need to get some production out of the QB position. I honestly don't see anything worse coming out of a change cause a loss is a loss is a loss.

So who cares who the QB is that's getting the loss. We need to see if John has imporved at all. We need to see what he can do with a team that has some talent around him. If Beck is going to be our backup or if we intend on trading him he needs to prove something. I say there's nothing wrong with giving the guy a shot at this point.

Now here's what I think will happen, Pennington will remain the QB and we will continue to lose because of that fact. I think the defense is good enough to keep us in games if we can score 14 to 20 points a game, but we aren't going to get that cause we can't even get a decent drive more then twice a game much less a scoring drive.

BTW anyone else see the heart of our defense go out the window after that second 70+ yard pass? I did!
