Accuracy, rating both go to Beck. Interceptions are about even, yards about even, and touchdowns go to Quinn. Not exactly a shocker that they passed on Quinn for Ginn if you think they were already targeting Beck. Beck also brings 2 years of age which for a quarterback isn't terrible. Life experience and responsibility is huge for someone running your offense. I'm stoked for Beck...Ginn is up in the air.

The only big concern I have is that BECK is small and I'm concerned about him getting hurt then when back to square 1 again.

Beck played in a wide open college system that inflates stats. Give me a break, Quinn has far more potential to be great. Not to mention he's not half way to retirement.

how old is Quinn? around 22? Beck is 4 years older. retirement age is around.....37. so about 15 years for a QB? last i check 4 is not half of 15....

Quinn has far more pressure to be great and the ego to match. He also blew big games left and right while Beck won his Bowl Game with the last play of the game..poise rules above possible potential.

My only concern with Beck is his age...**** maturity, this guy is just flat out old.
2 more years is nothing to a qb look at trent green, dilfer, test., marino, young, elway, farve, the list goes on and on for guys who played a long time. If you are good it does NOT MATTER!!! Dont mis read that i am saying Beck is one of these guys but as of right now he is as close as Brady is to these guys.

Sorry pal, we're here in the same boat, there was something about Quinn, that made no team choose him, but Cleveland, I bet that was all Quinn Dreamt of.... Being a stupid dog, Now that's all he will be..

Bottom Line

Quinn will probably end up like Leaf a great prospect...... taht's all.....

Remember NO TEAM WANTED HIM, THAT'S WHY HE ENDED UP IN 22ND

No team needed a QB. That's why...

Beck didn't play LSU in his bowl game.

Quinn threw to a first round type receiver in Jeff S. Name a single receiver without looking it up that Beck threw to. Quinn blew plenty of games that weren't LSU or Bowl Games. Quinn lost to the only 2 good programs he faced last year...USC and Michigan. Whew he blew out Army and Navy...move over Peyton Manning here comes a quarterback kickin the crap outta Army and Navy.

You can easily compare the two and if 26 is old I'm 27 and friggin ancient. WHERE IS MY SOCIAL SECURITY CHECK??

I'm fine with both picks. I think Ginn would have still been on the board at 19. He has a bad foot... and may not have been the second receiver taken... might have been around at 25.

I would have liked a trade down. It didn't happen.

I am happy to have Ginn, but it might not have been good value.
********
If Culpepper and Ginn can recover from their injuries, are passing game should improve.

It's nice to have an insurance policy with Beck.

I just saw another press conference with both Cam and Mueller and Mueller looked like he was about to cry when Cameron was talking about Ginn.

Make no mistake Ginn is a Cameron pick. Mueller wanted Brady Quinn. This is going to suck. We just drafted Jay Fielder all over again.
