Okay look no matter what the thread title says it seems to turn into a love or hate fest for the guy..

to all the lovers,
he has done nothing to love.

to all the haters,
he was no prepared to play last season cause cam loved trent green and lemon and didnt think he was going to have to use him.. He got thrown in being unprepared to one of the worst teams ever.. how can you hate him.. i watched the same games you did i saw him fumble the same snaps you did but i dont hate a guy because he is not brady quinn..

I would have much rather have had the Dolphins draft Brady Quinn, however you cant change the past and i hope John beck turns into an All Pro starting QB for Miami! We deserve qb that can lead us to the Superbowl, whoever that may be(Beck or Henne or McCown)!

Please no! That other thread was actually about a different topic that happened to mention on the side that the waterboy was practicing burping "Beck is the best QB in the galaxy" but the practice squad is convinced his 666 tatoo makes him the devil incarnate (why they were looking at his a$$ is beyond me). Of course, Sparano read it as 999. This of course kicked off the yin and yang/lovers dance of pro/anti beck comments which grow like mold covering any new conversation that could otherwise have been had (Tilex?)

i would have voted for post of the year had you not added the last part of the last sentence. It was so close yet so far away considering all Brady proved was a huge monetary extension for his starting QB. The rest of it was right on.

It is too early to pass FINAL judgment on Beck. Quinn will have the advantage of sitting 2 years before he ever sees the field.

Quinn wouldn't have made us better team last year. IMO Quinn is overrated, but that's not say he isn't better than Beck! We simply don't know at this point!

Give a qb some protection and a running game and then we will see what we have in ANY of our qbs!
