It's really hard to tell what their motives are at this point. You can make a case either way as to why it was Beck and not McCown. Any way the season is only about 2 weeks away, we'll know something soon as to what this teams plans are at the QB position.

by NOT playing McCown he doesn't make any mistakes and doesnt hurt his trade value. That's the way I see it

No doubt! I can't believe I'm rooting for Pennington now. Oh well, guess its time to get over it. The offensive line looks really good on running plays. Seems were in the defensive backfield rather than the opposite. I like where were headed!

Whats amazing about it? "Most" fans on fan boards would like to see the young players succeed. At the same time the fans want the players who are playiong well to play, I don't think it's amazing, I think it's pretty normal.

I don't think I've ever seen so much conversation about a player who isn't going to contribute anything, other than a 6th rounder.

Maybe, maybe not. We don't know what the FO and coaching staff plans are, but at the moment Beck is a Dolphin and I for one will support the players on this team regarless if others don't.
