I hate the man. But do you think he could at least open up the lanes for R and R?

I mean if he doesn't fumble every snap?

Because as much as I'd like to see Henne go in, I doubt he will. At least not until the end of the season. So **** it, right?

Try Beck. Can't get any worse. And I'm not talking about the training wheel playing conditioning he played in last year under Cam. Give him an open play book. and just see what happens. He'll probably stink it up, but why not?

I will have plenty of Becks to get me through next week's game...good thinkin':beer1:

Beck is an intriging idea but we all know how QB carousels work out. Seems like what are supposed to be Beck's strengths would be a nice fit for this team. Everything you read on him makes it sound like he's a cross between Pennington's smarts and Henne's arm strength. We just have nothing on the field which backs any of it up.

I dunno. It was just a thought. I have never been so miserable than after yesterday's game. I cannot take another loss like that. I really can't.

And I know we're probably going to get messed up by NE then even more so by San Diego. I'm slowly becoming an alcoholic, and I'm not even 19 yet. Thanks Dolphins

Im really dont care anymore. None of they guys are going to develop with the poor coaching we continue to have.

Is this a joke?

Yeah, put Beck in and go for the #1 pick in the 2009 draft. :d-day: :rolleyes2:

The QB position is not our problem. We are set for today & the future. It's the rest of the team that has huge holes.

well, we're headed that way anyways. And with our backs and O line, we should not be. I dunno. I am just frustrated as ****. I'll begin writing my suicide note then.

you mean you want to put Beck on the O-Line? I can understand that, he stinks as a QB, lets try him out at RT.. Hey, we DO need a RT.

This is a small bright side of the defeat on Sunday. Beck can see it is not all him now and that takes the monkey off his back so now he can just play without so much pressure. Beck still probably needs more time this year but this is a beginning for him to start from. His game is mental and it takes him more time to get acclimated than some QB. Chad Henne does not need the extra time but there are other issues

thats the only move that can make us worse than we are now.....

That would be an OK idea, but it wont help us out that much. Teams wont stack the box as much, but our receivers still wont be able to get open.

First off, hate is a very strong word. I don't think anyone should "hate" any player when they are trying their best to improve.
Secondly, while CP had a less than stellar outing, I don't think QB play was a significant contibutor to this embarrassing loss.
Third, Beck needs to go to a team that has the luxury of some talent and stability on offense. He deserves that much after the situation he was thrust into last season.

Mark Sanchez! :hi5:

Saying that Pennington was not the main reason we lost is not a valid point. Our defense lost the game, that's right, but that doesn't mean that our offense couldn't be better. We have to solve all our problems if we can, not just the biggest one. We scored only 24 points in 2 games againt mediocre defenses, and our offense had a lot of 3 and outs.

I won't say that benching Pennington in favour of Beck would solve that, but 12 ppg is actually a lot worse than last year (our average was 17 points/game last year).
