It may have been a blessing in disguise for some of us optimist to not have every player and decison trashed during last years season by our many pessimist. I didn't like not having people to debate with, myself. There were many things to be sad about for us finfans. But look at the bright side of things. We have another offseason of hopes that our 4th regime in 5 years will work out this time. And all you people that told me I was crazy and full of it because of what some of you called my conspiracy theories can finally see what I already knew. Our most hated rival will hopefully drop back down to earth since the NFL can't protect them anymore because Congress is involved now. It's just a matter of a year or two before were on top of the AFC EAST again.

I can only hope that this regime will do what it takes to get us back to being among the elite teams again,and get us to challenging for and going to the SB,but for right now,i'll be happy with a playoff spot.

Well Bill did build the foundation for the Pats before they had to cheat and have rules invented for them.(tuck rule) Then he went and turned the bottom dwelling Jets into a playoff team in just a couple of years before building Dallas into reguler season NFC champ. I beleive I read that their isn't a single player on our roster from the 98-04 drafts. I beleive that will change immediately.:up: Throw in that we had the 4th best D in the NFL before Cam got here and added Joey and I don't think we are in as bad of shape as 1-15 indicates. I beleive it all started with Cam questioning Zachs heart in front of the the team at TC and then the way he did Daunte that our guys just didn't want to play for him on either side of the ball. I'm saying worst to first this year.

You're right G-Force,he did do all that,but as a coach. i hope he can help do it as a front office man,and i hope he's brought in the right people for the job,granted they're people he's worked with and knows,but as a fan,i hope they're the right ones for the job of turning this team around,but only time'll tell. ohhh,and another thing,you don't go questioning Zachs heart in front of the team,that man's been the heart&soul of the defense damn near since he's been here. hell,you don't go questioning his heart period,he's given his all to the Dolphins organization since his rookie year,you don't question that kind of loyalty or heart.

I seen it once like the year after when they ruled it a tuck. The other 100's of them were ruled fumbles. Lets not forget that it still took a snow plow coming on for the Patiots during the timeout on the GW FG in that game either. 9/11 Patriots "Patriotic" and they even cheated in that SB and the NFL has covered for them every since with gamechanging calls and lack thereof. Until Congress got involved right before this years SB anyways.

Cam should have stuck to O and just never even look at our D. We add Joey Porter and go from 4th to 20 something? I hate to think our players wouldn't won't to at least play for their hardcore fans but I'm afraid that was the case. Did you happen to read that article where Joey tore into Cam over what he did to Traylor? I wish Zach would have done that at the first of the year.

yeah i read that article,and in a way i was glad Porter did that,but in a way i think he was wrong. the reason i was glad is because by him doing that,it allowed the rest of the team who might have still been buying into what Cam was preaching,see what kind of coach they had....and the reason i think he was wrong,is because i think he should've waited til they were back in Miami and pulled him off to the side and said his piece without crucifying him in front of the whole team.

I disagree. I think any moron that would do what Cam did to Zach had that coming and should have had it alot sooner. Our only pride for the last 10-12 years has been our Zach led D and a couple of good years from Ricky. Cam came in and struck right at the heart of that D. Why? On top of taht Traylor was'nt the only guilty party because the 2 o-lineman was up in Traylors face to yet Cam did nothing but try to make an example out of a defensive veteran that has already earned respect in this league. What Joey done IMO was let Cam know taht their is one more game left in the year he led the team to 1-15 and he better think twice before he messes with the D again. I love Zach and JT as much as the next Dolfan but I have always said they lead with play and don't light a fire under the others. Joey stepped up and took that role as I expected and drew a line not only for Zach and Traylor but everyone on his side of teh ball. I would just about bet my life that our D will ne in at least the top 10 next year.
