Hey guys (and gals). It's been a long time since I posted last.
First off, if any of you remember me, you know I'm not here to talk smack. If you just want to rip me for abeing a Jets fan, don't bather. Usually being a Jets fan is it's own punishment :) Not this year, of course...
Anyway, on to your Phins. First off, I'm thrilled for Pennington. I approved of the move to cut him, but still remain a fan of his even though he's in teal and orange. And I'm assuming by now many of you have gotten over hating on him. He may not have the arm, but he still makes plays. He has some years left on him, too. As long as he's healthy, he's a strong leader for your team.
Looks like you really hit it out of the park with a coach, too. I was very sceptical of Sparano when the Phons first hired him, but he's done a tremendous job. OTOH, I'm not at all surprised about Henning. He was our OC during our '98 run that ended with us 13-3, and a half away from the SB.
I can't even imagine how much you guys are enjoying this season. It's awesome having low expectations, and then having your team outperform those expectations. So keep enjoying it, and here's to hoping that week 17 is a meaningful game!
