He's a huge loss when he's not there. Notice I obsess over his status in the practice tweet threads. He's so strong, watch him walk Fluker into the backfield on the first play. Much better than Trusnick you notice the overall difference in the run defense.

This defense is much better with Misi...it's not just his tackling against the run but it's the fact that he's the QB of the defense...the guy that makes the calls and gets everyone in position. He's obviously put in the work in the film room.

Trusnik is a career special teams player. Misi is a football player and provided a spark today for the defense.
In my opinion, Misi, Jones, Grimes and Wake cannot be replaced if they are injured. There will be a big drop in production.

Part of the reason why Misi is missed so much is that the drop-off between him and Trusnik is like jumping from the top of the Grand Canyon to the bottom.
Misi has things he does really well, and some not so good things. But Trusnik -- man, oh man.

Really liked how he was always around the ball today. The man can lay the wood, those are the hits that will eventually cause turnovers.
