Before and After Pics(Brian Cushing)

Nice man boobs. I wouldn't count those pics as evidence of steroid used unless the time they were taken are very close together. It's possible to put muscle like that on over 3 years of training, but it's also not difficult to mask drug use in college. If he used, he will be exposed in the NFL, either by failing a test or losing a lot of body mass. I'm curious as to when those pics were taken.

Maybe he did use steroids, but what really bothered me is he had his pants rolled up on one side. Pretty gay in my opinion.

I hate to say it but this smacks of steroid use. Those of you who don't buy that are either uneducated on the subject or you chose to ignore it. The difference in those two body styles is two years WITH steroids and aggressive workouts, 10 years without it, if possible at all. Do you want the next Tony Mandrich on the Fins? I don't. I am a little educated on this subject. I am a physician, I have seen steroid use in players 1st hand.

I'm not trying to be disrespectful... but 10 years? If that was true then 75% of the NFL and College players under the age of 24 must be on steroids because I doubt they've all been lifting every day since they were 14. I went to college with quite a few people who looked closer to the after picture than the before picture linked up top... and at the age of 20-22, I know they didn't have 10 years of lifting in, and I also know they weren't on roids... they were just gym rats who never ate anything bad for them.

I'm not saying the bulk that was put on by these USC boys put on is legit, but I am saying that I believe it's possible to add a lot of bulk in less than 10 years due to working out every day and taking suppliment other than steroids (whey protein, creatine, etc.)

And lastly... that comparison is misleading because they picked a picture of him where his body is at complete rest compared to one of him power flexing... Honestly... there are pictures of him in high-school you can find all over google in which he looks much bigger than the "before" picture up there... it's just not apples to apples.

Who cares if he took steroids this isn't baseball.. IF he gets caught they are just gonna suspend him four games and pretty much say "Dont get caught again"

And most football players that go on to play D1 football and have a chance at the NFL have been lifting and working on their bodies since about 15 years old so it is very believable to get to a certain level over 9-10 years of lifting for football.

10 years? I doubt it takes that long.

This isn't a valid example.

Tony Mandarich wasn't a bust because he took steroids, far from it actually. Steroids made him an elite college football player. Steroids made him the 2nd overall pick in the NFL draft.

The reason he was a bust was because he had no desire what so ever to play for Green Bay. His attitude was a big reason for him being a bust. Becoming addicted to pain killers and drinking yourself stupid was a reason he was a bust.

This was literally just on ESPN within the last few days. And besides, there have been PLENTY of players that used steroids on their way to the NFL and didn't turn into Mandarich. Merriman seems to be having a pretty good career so far, wouldnt you agree?
