Quotes taken from bolttalk.com and forums.chargers.com after this week's loss to the Fins....

sounds familiar...
We have to clean house. Coaches, QB, new defensive scheme (4-3), and most importantly ownership!
At least i get my Sundays back now
(on Rivers) He has turned out to be pretty horrendous in pressure situations. I'm sick of blaming the offensive line. He has pockets to step into and deliver the ball, he just sits back there outside of the forming pocket and the line gets blamed. I just don't get it.
(on the Chargers) nah, they have 8-8 written all over them

in the "run the freakin ball" dept...
How hard is it just to take the points!? The Dolphins literally were giving the game away with all the flags and we start going pass happy at the goal line. Just run it, FG range? Just run it. My goodness, I still can't comprehend why we didn't. It wasn't like they were down big either, just four points and then at the end, they were friggin tied!
Why are we not RUNNING IT THERE. WE ARE ALMOST IN FG RANGE. I HATE this TEAM!! McCoy you suck so bad. Rivers you're even worse

It's about time...
Dlin of miami solide (sic)
Our O-line is getting manhandled.
too much pressure on PR from multiple angles, including the Miami D line.
gordon was getting killed all game. then again so was Rivers. tough call either way. Really felt our Oline just got pummeled all day and Rivers was playing on complete instinct and hoping for the best. Of course when you hope for the best, you get 4 INTs.

Agreed....
This loss is totally on Rivers. The ref's did everything they could to help us and Philip still blew it ... along with any chance of a wild-card.

Perhaps something we may have ourselves now...
We need a strong HC or OC to stand up to rivers and take the ball out ofbhis hand when he's not on it, rare, but mccoy isn't him, neither is wiz.

the sportsman...
Give credit to Miami defence too.
Hats off to Miami. Outsmarted rivers

if I was a chargers fan...
Whelp, there is a minute left on the clock.
Anything can happen.

in closing....
Really think Miami outplayed this team.

Been to my share of bad Charger games but this one may have been the worst. Can't stand Dolphin fans.

It's the DOLPHINS! Safe flight home. Oh wait, you live here.

***** Christ.

Sweet, Sweet victory!

Well they're on the verge of losing the team to L.A. so I guess they can stop complaining about ownership and the team. Not even a 40% vote for a new stadium. If I was the owner I'd say that signals that the majority of the city of San Diego doesn't want you there.

They certainly didn't have ANY respect for Thill before the game.

Getting consistent heat on ANY QB makes them look bad.

Rivers is still a player and big time competitor. Obviously we had a good plan against him but most importantly we kicked a$$ on the LOS and rattled his cage consistently.

Yup box was stacked on the plays i saw early on. So glad he was able to make them pay. And it's not the first time he has done it on this win streak. The deep ball aspect of his game is getting really good - which is awesome!

I was watching some of the coverage and some of their fans

and I just laughed when they said something about the "visitors" being in the sun on the sideline and that's got to help San Diego...

and I was just thinking huh?? they are playing the one team that actually has hotter weather not ****in Buffalo lol

anyway, I was following the Chargers board this week prior to the game, and none of their fans were giving Miami a shot in this one. Nice to leave there with a W though.

feels good.

They were not going to run the ball in from the goal line, we were man handling them!

Agreed! In fact, they were getting pushed backwards at the goal line.

I was on the Dolphins side, but had my boy beside me and 2 Bolts fans behind me. They were getting pissed because I kept saying on the goal line, "Keep running, you ain't man enough"! hahaha I also said here comes a classic Rivers choke at towards the end of the game...and they were like whatever man. Very next play, he threw the int to Maxwell! hahaha
