Every year during draft time , Ialways wonder if we got the guys we wanted or if we totally whiffed and just settled for what was there. The weird thing is it is all confidential so we just have to take their word for it, sounds like a good job to me whatever you say every one just has to believe it. Was Ireland in the bathroom during a crucial trade call? Did the mob boss Parcells threaten to put a hit out on Ireland and Sparano if they didn't comply with the players he wanted? How many times did Sparano say at the end of the day when discussing who to select?Do they just flip a coin on the toughies? Does anyone else wonder what goes down? What do you guys think really happened? The world may never know.

Jake long says it all. Best player available so Parcells is for it, beast offensive lineman so Sparano is for it, and he signed cheaper than jamarcus so ireland was for it. it probably went like that through the draft.
