For example, when you read that the Dolphins are unhappy with Samson Satele and might look to upgrade the Center position via free agency or the draft, consider that the Pittsburgh Steelers (drafting after the Dolphins at #32) are looking to upgrade at Center. Seeing the Dolphins' interest, would the Steelers be compelled to contact the Dolphins in order to trade up and get their guy (perhaps Cal's Alex Mack, the #1 rated Center by Scouts, Inc.)?

Hmmmm, especially the last sentence in this article... I didn't post that..

I would love for us to go C and NT, but I think we will be going LB with our first.

Hmm...

That is an interesting take. Throw a C need out there iwth the Steelers behind us although i am not so sure a trade up would occur. There are a few good C prospects coming out so they may not be that itchy unless they really want a certain player but there are a few options at C this year.

ditto. its English, mathews, or laurenitis at 25 IMO.

I have to agree there...Parcells loves to take LB's in the 1st round and one or 2 of those 3 could still be there at 25

Ozzy rules!!

steelers have a too many top dollar players on the payroll
might just be an investment they can't afford or need. they already have the #1 defense in the NFL

Mack,Unger,Woods; Who knows which one will excell. If there was a clear top C trading up might happen, but the choice is anything but clear.

If Pittsburgh trades up they will trade up to get a OT. Starks contract is only for a year. Marvel Smith is not coming back and Willie Colon sucks.

The Steelers may trade up to get a slider like Smith or maybe Eben Britton.

Pittsburgh has needs at Center, Guard and Tackle so I really don't see them caring to trade up when they can let the draft chips fall where they may.

With whats going on with mauluga i think he falls to us and we snag him at 25.

I think the Steelers have too many high paid players to be able to afford Brown.. they have a team of stars, we don't
