Saw the blurb come across the screen on ESPN or NFLN, can't remember which one but it sure caught me by surprise. I know that the team wouldn't put his long term health ahead of anything else so he must be progressing nicely. Would be shocked but in a good way if #17 played.:hump:
 
Yea he will probably practice this week then doctors and gase will make the call at the weekend

Personally I suspect he makes it
 
makes it tougher on the steelers to prep unsure if tannehill plays or doesn't....if he doesn't play, i don't think they'll announce anything until a day or two before sunday

i would love to see tannehill come back from this injury with a chance to win a playoff game
 
Whether he plays or not.....I like the strategy of keeping the Steelers guessing....
 
Seeing that he wasn't officially ruled out of the Patriots game until Friday I don't see why this would come as a shock. I'm not saying he's going to play, but I don't see them making a ruling until the end of the week.

i heard he's gimping around, so i think him playing is highly unlikely.
 
My opinion, he's a "game time" decision to keep Pitt on their toes, but the agreement is made beforehand that he'll go against NE if we make it that far. We will beat Pitt with a heavy dose of Ajayi and PA opportunities. Moore can do that. Ryan is more beneficial in the NE game since they are more likely to shut down Ajayi again.

this from joe schad today: "Tannehill has been seen walking without a cast, crutches and brace, and a very slight limp."

the "very slight" was news to me.

I read the opposite. This from Armando Salgueiro (twitter):

"I did see Ryan Tannehill walk without a limp as it was made clear to everyone he is not speaking today. #isuck"

And from Barry Jackson:

"Tannehill walking without a visible limp in Dolphins locker-room today. Was not made available for comment."

I can't find who said it but I remember another tweet saying RT was walking with no limp and wearing only a sleeve over his knee...no brace.
