Bell article in today's local paper!

I really can't say enough about how good I think Bell is playing right now. I'd even go so far as to say he could wind up as soon as next year being one of the top safety's in the entire NFL.

Nice article.

Bell has made the transition from situational 3rd down dime DB to an every down starting safety.

I'm very impressed with his ability to disrupt. He doesn't chase the play. He attacks it. That is what you want out of a safety.


If he stays healthy and continues to develop I believe we have solidified the position in many ways.

Bell allows you to be more creative. Just another guy to worry about for opposing offenses.

Very talented kid indeed.
 
Now when Jason Allens comes along, Allen and Bell will be one of our great safety combos a la Anderson and Scott and/or Bruise Brothers

adn they are BOTH HARD HITTERS. finally after 6 years if allen comes along we will have a hard hitting combo.
 
Yeremiahs the man. I don't have much else to say about the article. Just that Y.B. has become the first young talent i've ever been truly excited about since...zach thomas?
 
My only question is... will he ever play all 3 downs at S? When I was at the Pats game... they put JAllen in for Bell and left Hill out there. They would move Bell down to nickle LB/CB a decent amount of those times.

thats because hes our best nickle coverage option, not because he couldn't play saftey on 3rd down. Also, iits part of just getting Jason Allen on the field and having him learn the system slowly. Personally, i love that we put bell at the nickle spot.
