Bell is choosing between Phins, Bills, Chiefs

Not sure why he would pass on the Chiefs if that is indeed a real option. But if he really does want to hang out in Miami for a few months it would be hard for this staff to say no, assuming hes kept himself in decent shape. I refuse to believe that a 28 yr old who has just taken a good year and a half off is washed up. What he was doing in Pittsburgh was pretty unique and I can't imagine a better safety blanket for Tua whenever he takes the field.

he doesn't want to back up CEH until he retires! lol

I have no idea what to expect from Bell if we do end up getting him...but if the team views him as Howard‘s replacement and that guy was inactive last week...I’d say ANY contribution from Bell would be an improvement

Howard even sucked as a short-yardage guy and I thought he would be at least decent at that since he doesn’t bring much else to the table

Because I could think of better ways to spend money than a aging oft injured of late running back. Plenty of young bucks in the upcoming draft as well as some other veterans who I am sure will become available in the off-season.

That being said, I do have faith in this regime that they will not overpay so if Coach Flo wants him I’d love to see it

The man is getting a minimum deal wherever he goes, and that cash is all going back to the Jets. Don't imagine money is a consideration here.

Has he lost a step or is the jets line terrible

If I recall gore was good last year but this year stinks

I agree with you here. But i think as much as they're looking towards the future they're also looking at this season to win as much as they can. I think they don't really feel they have a capable back behind Gaskin.

Hell, Look how they're using Bredia now. He's pretty much the guy that comes in to run screen type plays tipping the defense off. When he runs between the tackle he looks he's going to break or fumble(I think he almost lost the ball on 2 different occassions).

My understanding is that Bell can do everything and helps keep the defense honest.
