Ben Volin: Film Study from Fins/Pats Game

Rush 2 and still sack the damn qb...rediculous....10 damn qb hits

Sad

false steps all over the place from the freaking lbs...so damn easy to bait

Great article. Along with Dansby, Ben Volin was Miami's biggest offseason loss in the last few years :chuckle:

Lol, all three linebackers biting every time.

How is that not a surprise.

You could see the disaster at LB a mile away and people for some reason believe that an elite DT would somehow make below average linebacking better

I thought Volin was completely on about how Miami's Dline played. They were pretty good last game.

I wish he still wrote for Miami. Pat's fans can't stand him because he doesn't drink the Kool-Aid.

Whats the most hilarious to me, we bit on the play action fakes EVERY SINGLE TIME... Wtf with this crap LB core and defense overall

Cambell should at least make the players memorize the number of the oppents main weapon. That way when he runs right by them, they will know who to follow at least. Our secondary and LBs often look lost in coverage. If RBs and TE's are LBs responsibility in coverage, than we definately need to shore that up. However, all season in losses to the AFC east, the problem has been the anemic offense while the defense has more than held it's own. Most teams would take Pats with only 20 points given up by their D in the mid 4th quarter. This offense has been the stumbling block in our losses. Our inability to pick up 4 and 5 man rushes all season 3-4 years in a row is baffling.

Those comments were harsh. I thought I was on Finheaven reading an article from Omar to get those reactions.

Do you they would grab the elite DT if Wake was not here. It might be even more of a waste now.

Jarvis Landry has consistently beaten his opponents but Butler effectively eliminated him on Thursday. It goes to show how well he has been developed by Belichick. From being undrafted to making the interception to win the Super Bowl. Butler is not a one big play fluke. He has emerged as a really good young cornerback.
